Like other countries in the world, Cameroon is facing the serious health crisis caused by the coronavirus. The latest figures released by the government on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 indicate that the bar of 5,000 infected people has been crossed. In his speech to the Nation, on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, the President of the Republic then declared: "I also encourage all efforts aimed at developing an endogenous treatment for Covid-19". On instructions from the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, met on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at the Immeuble Etoile, with Mgr Samuel Kleda, Metropolitan Archbishop of Douala, on the support of the government in the framework treatment based on plants from our region with a curative effect, which he put in place to treat the disease.
