Fight against AIDS: a new front for Chantal BIYA
In her commitment to fight against AIDS, the first lady of Cameroon was illustrated by her participation in the meeting on September 4 in Beijing. The aim was to become more engaged in consolidating the achievements of recent years and limit the appearance of new cases in order to eradicate the scourge at its simplest. On the menu, she was talking about sharing her experience and learning from others. The summit in its assets had four axes for more impact: to emphasize the quality of the care to be granted to the patients through efficient health structures; continue to raise awareness for the development of good behavior by targeting youth in particular; accessible care for all segments of the population and especially the encouragement of the most disadvantaged to receive them; the pressure on the fight against mother-to-child transmission of HIV / AIDS, a condition sine qua non for a world without AIDS. These axes have been the lever of cooperation that must be activated by joining efforts and coming together for a remarkable impact. The first Damea therefore took care to formalize its commitment by signing the "Beijing Declaration". In short, it has committed to four new main lines in order to consolidate the gains.
